Here is a before and after of Gathering of Sail - sized 40x60 inch.  Never did like the first version of the painting.  I always felt it lacked life and although the picture was colorful, it did not use color successfully. I put it away and then repainted it later. Now I feel Gathering of Sails exciting.  The colors convey an emotion and I think I will keep it! ...
